Terms of Service

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Einsol's Razor offers free and paid subscription tiers (Player and GM). Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled.

Prices are listed exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the payment issue is resolved. We reserve the right to terminate accounts with extended payment failures.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the Services
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Impersonate any person or entity

The Services include game-related tools such as the character creator ("the Forge"), virtual tabletop (VTT), and digital content including but not limited to character data, adventure content, subclasses, spells, and other digital items (collectively, "Virtual Items").

Virtual Items are licensed, not sold. Your purchase or subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Virtual Items within the Services. Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside of the Services.

We reserve the right to modify, remove, or discontinue any Virtual Items at any time. Character data and other user-generated content created using the Services is stored at our discretion and subject to the data retention practices described in our Privacy Notice.

You may create, upload, or share content through the Services, including but not limited to character builds, campaign notes, messages, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account, except where your content has been shared with other users or incorporated into shared features.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to the Einsol's Razor game system, rules, lore, artwork, character data structures, software, designs, trademarks, and trade dress — are the exclusive property of Einsol's Razor and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription or purchase grants you a limited license to access and use the content within the Services for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Players may use the game rules and content for personal tabletop play, including printing character sheets and referencing rules during gameplay. This license does not extend to redistributing, republishing, or commercially exploiting game content.

In addition to subscriptions, we may offer individual content pieces, printed books, and PDF products for one-time purchase. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Digital purchases are tied to your account and are non-transferable. Physical products are subject to separate shipping and return policies provided at the time of purchase.

Einsol's Razor is committed to maintaining an inclusive and welcoming community. We have zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, discrimination, and any form of bigotry. Users who engage in such behavior will have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated without refund.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Services immediately ceases.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, though some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EINSOL'S RAZOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Services and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
