Classes & Subclasses
At Level 1, choose one of six Base Classes to define your combat role, aptitudes, and progression. At Level 4, specialize into one of three Subclasses — each with its own Paths, Feats, and ultimate abilities across 20 levels.
How Classes Work
Base Classes (Level 1)
Your Base Class determines your HP Dice, Gear Aptitudes, access to Base Class Feats, and your first Aptitude Point and Dice. Levels 1–3 build your foundation through Base Class Feats.
Subclasses (Level 4)
At Level 4, choose a Subclass to unlock unique Core Feats, Subclass Dice, Subclass Points, and specialization Paths. Each Subclass branches into Adept (Level 6), Master (Level 11), and Pinnacle (Level 16) Paths.
Paths & Bracket Pools
Each Path grants unique Feats at set levels. At Bracket Pool levels (7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 19), choose bonus Feats from your current or any previously unlocked Pool.
Core Upgrades (Level 10)
At Level 10, your Core Subclass Feats from Levels 4 and 5 get stronger or more versatile — evolving with your character.
The Six Base Classes
Each Base Class forms the foundation of your character's unique direction. Choose the one that matches your playstyle.
